This Privacy Policy describes how Deeva Groups ("we", "us", "our"), a unit of Deeva Payon Global Private Limited, collects, uses, stores and protects information when you visit deevagroups.com (the "Website"), contact us, or purchase our software products and services. By using the Website you agree to this Policy. This Policy is published in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. Information we collect
- Information you give us: name, business name, mobile number, email address, postal address, GSTIN and brand details (logo, colours, domain name) when you send an enquiry, buy a product, or ask us to deploy software for you.
- Payment information: when you pay online, your payment is processed by our payment aggregator, Cashfree Payments India Private Limited. We receive only the payment status, order reference and bank reference (UTR) — we never collect or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN, net-banking credentials or any other payment instrument details on our servers.
- Account information: if a client login is created for you, we store your login identifier, hashed password, and activity connected to your account (orders, invoices, support requests).
- Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and timestamps, collected through server logs and cookies for security and to make the Website work properly.
2. How we use the information
- To respond to enquiries, give demos, prepare quotations and process orders.
- To deliver what you bought: deploying your portal, configuring your brand, issuing licences and providing training and support.
- To verify payments with Cashfree, issue GST invoices and maintain accounts as required by law.
- To send service communication about your order, deployment, renewal or support ticket (we do not send marketing messages without your consent).
- To protect the Website and our systems against fraud, abuse and unauthorised access.
- To comply with applicable law, legal process or lawful requests of public authorities.
3. Sharing of information
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only:
- with Cashfree Payments and banks, to the extent needed to process your payment, verify its status and handle refunds or chargebacks;
- with service providers who help us run the business (hosting, SMS/email delivery, accounting), bound by confidentiality and only for the stated purpose;
- within Deeva Payon Global Private Limited for administration and accounting;
- when required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect our legal rights.
4. Cookies
The Website uses strictly necessary cookies (such as a session cookie and a security token) to keep forms and logins working safely. You can block cookies in your browser, but parts of the Website may then not work.
5. Data retention
We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months, and order, invoice and payment records for the period required by Indian tax and company law (currently 8 years). Account data is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for legal and audit purposes.
6. Security
We use reasonable security practices and procedures — HTTPS encryption on the Website, hashed passwords, role-based access to data, and restricted access to our servers. Online payments happen on Cashfree's PCI-DSS-compliant systems, not on ours. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information in line with industry standards.
7. Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw a consent you gave earlier, by writing to support@deevagroups.com. We will respond within a reasonable time, subject to records we must keep by law (for example invoices).
8. Third-party links
The Website may link to third-party websites (for example Cashfree, or a client's own portal). Their privacy practices are their own; please read their policies.
9. Children
Our products and the Website are meant for businesses and persons aged 18 or above. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows the current version, and continued use of the Website after a change means you accept the updated Policy.
